Meet the team
Dr Daniel Cortez
Dr. Cortez began his academic journey at Texas A&M University, where he earned his degree in Biomedical Sciences. He then continued his education at The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).Following dental school, Dr. Cortez completed an Advanced Education in General Practice Residency at Memorial Hermann Hospital. There, he received extensive training in managing complex cases, dental emergencies, and caring for medically compromised patients—further refining his clinical expertise.With a strong focus on precision and personalized care, Dr. Cortez is passionate about delivering high-quality dentistry in a welcoming, patient-centered environment. He believes in building lasting relationships through trust, compassion, and attention to detail.
Outside the office, Dr. Cortez enjoys spending quality time with his family and close friends. His favorite pastimes include grilling and smoking meats, hunting, fishing, and getting lost in a great book.
Dr. Margaret Oliveri
Dr. Margaret Oliveri earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1997 at Loyola University of Chicago. After completing her undergraduate studies, she attended Hofstra University in New York, where she earned a Master of Science degree in Biology in 2000.
Dr. Oliveri earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2004. While attending dental school, she received recognition for demonstrating outstanding clinical skills while providing compassionate care in a thorough and professional manner.
After completing dental school, Dr. Oliveri was granted acceptance to General Practice Residency program at New York Methodist Hospital. During her residency she was nominated by the professorship for chief resident for second year where she also earned an award in highest honors in Prosthodontics by the Department of Dental Medicine.
Dr Funmi Abosede
Dr. Funmi Abosede is a compassionate and dedicated dentist with over 12 years of dental experience. Inspired by her love for the art of dentistry and the act of service, Dr. Abosede chose dentistry as her career path and has cherished every moment of her journey. Her areas of expertise include implants, crowns, cosmetic dentistry, and surgery.
Dr. Abosede finds immense joy in the positive impact her work has on people’s lives. She graduated in the top 10 for clinical dentistry and received the Dean’s Award. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Invisalign, and the Texas Dental Association (TDA).
Giving back to the community is a core value for Dr Abosede. Dr. Abosede and her team offer free dental services to disadvantaged military personnel, women in abusive situations, and young adults preparing for job interviews.
Her patient care philosophy emphasizes listening to and understanding patient needs while consistently delivering quality care. Dr. Abosede is committed to providing an environment of mutual respect and trust, ensuring every patient feels valued and cared for.
